Work is too busy to make even a half-assed attempt at photoshop. The Predators are coming off an overtime loss in Edmonton from Tuesday night. They are currently 10th in the West, but only one point out of eighth place. They aren't that far off from when the Canucks played them a few weeks ago when there was a log jam of about eight teams tied. In that game, which the hillbillies won at home 3-1, the Canucks looked less than sharp, so hopefully they will play them better at Rogers Arena. The hillbillies are 4-4-2 in their last 10.
Over to the Canucks side, the big story has been Chris Higgins who is still out from a thumb injury he sustained on February 25, while still with the Panthers. He has stated he is anxious to finally get on the ice with his new team, and feels energized being tossed into the playoff picture. I for one am anxious as well. I am assuming he will be on the fourth line with Glass and Lapierre. They might substitute him for Hansen on the third line, but with the way those guys have been playing lately I wouldn't want to mess with a good thing. But it appears we will have some time to ponder this thought, as no timetable has been set for Higgins return.
